Athena Suits — Made-to-Measure Tailoring

1. The Service
Athena Suits is a made-to-measure tailoring service. Each suit is produced individually based on the measurements and specifications captured at your appointment. Production takes approximately six weeks from the time measurements are confirmed.
2. Pricing and Payment
The price of one made-to-measure suit (jacket and trousers) is €850 including Finnish VAT. The full amount is payable at the time of booking. No production begins until payment is received.
3. Right of Withdrawal — Important
Under Finnish Consumer Protection Act, Chapter 6, Section 16, and EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are produced to the consumer's personal specifications or are clearly personalised. Bespoke and made-to-measure suits fall under this exemption. By placing your order and accepting these terms, you acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal once production begins.
4. Cancellations
You may cancel your order in writing before measurements have been taken without penalty; we will refund the full amount paid. Once measurements have been taken and confirmed, the order is in production and is non-refundable, except as provided by law (see sections 5 and 6).
5. Defective Goods
If the delivered suit is defective in materials or workmanship, you are entitled to remedies under Finnish consumer protection law. Please contact us within 14 days of delivery. We will, at our discretion and depending on the defect, repair, alter, replace, or refund the affected garment.
6. Fit Guarantee
We will perform reasonable adjustments at no additional cost within 30 days of delivery if the suit does not fit within industry-standard tolerances based on the measurements taken. Adjustments outside this scope (weight changes, style preferences) are billable.
7. Delivery
Estimated delivery is six weeks from confirmed measurements. We are not liable for delays caused by international shipping, customs, or force majeure events, but we will keep you informed and work to resolve any issue.
8. Personal Data
We process your data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and GDPR. You may request export or deletion of your personal data at any time, subject to our legal obligation to retain transaction records (Finnish Bookkeeping Act, 7 years).
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes will be heard by the consumer dispute board (Kuluttajariitalautakunta) or, if that fails, by the District Court of Ostrobothnia.
